Nim Kelag

“Nim Kelag” is a 3D recreation of the first game I made in my life back in 2012 called “Kelag“. Since they have the same story, I can repeat its description here as well 🙂

Long ago; there was a successful street racing team named ‘Purples’. Their rival, ‘Greens’, was jealous of their success. They planned to tear them apart and by making arguments between its members, Greens divided Purples to 2 teams: Red team and Blue team. Each having the most powerful drivers in the city, Blue and Red team’s competition would never end as they were cut from the same cloth.

You play as a Blue team member, Firoz, who is a decent driver. One day, when racing on an airport, a mysterious purple plane kidnaps him…

Comparison

“Nim Kelag” is a standard 3D game made with the Unity engine while “Kelag” is a low-quality game I made with Game Maker when I was curious about game development. So, there are some heavy improvements and visual upgrades in the 11-year difference:

Fully immersive walkable cutscenes instead of comic pages

Improved 3D environments while keeping loyal to the original design

Standard gameplay elements and guides instead of assuming the player knows everything :)))

Realistic 3D car physics instead of the terrible card-like movement

Removed unnecessary elements that made the game unbearable
